What’s Happening in Sudan

Sudan is facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

Since April 2023, fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has devastated the country, killing an estimates 150,000 people and forcing over 12 million to flee their homes. Entire communities have been displaced, famine is spreading, and infrastructure has collapsed.

Education in Crisis

Across Sudan, schools, hospitals, and homes have been destroyed. The conflict has left an entire generation without access to learning.

Four out of every five children in Sudan, around 14 million, are now out of school.
Many classrooms have been damaged, looted, or turned into shelters. In some areas, children are learning under trees, without roofs, desks, or materials. Millions are at risk of losing their right to education entirely.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandel

Haboba’s House x Hope & Haven for Refugees

Haboba’s House

Haboba’s House is a Sudanese-led initiative repairing family homes damaged by the war in Sudan.

Founded by architect Sarah Abuzeid, the project was born from a simple but powerful belief, that a home is more than walls and a roof. It’s safety, identity, and memory.

Motivated by the displacement of her own people, Sarah began Haboba’s House to help restore not just buildings but stability and dignity for Sudanese families.

Haboba’s House works directly with local communities to rebuild from the ground up.

“This is for Sudan. This is for home. This is for haboba.” – Sarah Abuzeid

Hope & Haven for Refugees

Hope & Haven for Refugees is a humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting refugees and internally displaced people who have fled conflict and instability. Working primarily in border regions such as Chad’s Adré camp, the organisation provides urgent relief, such as food, medical care, trauma support and essential supplies.

Their vision: a future where every refugee has access to safety, dignity and the chance to rebuild their life.

The Fundraiser

Donate directly to the
Al-Qoboub Primary School fundraiser.

Hot People Care About is supporting Haboba’s House and Hope & Haven Refugees to rehabilitate Al-Qoboub Primary School in White Nile State, Sudan.

The school serves more than 300 students and was damaged during the conflict. Their classroom was looted and left unsafe, forcing lessons to take place outside under the sun and trees. Community volunteers are leading the rebuild, while funds raised will provide construction materials to help restore a safe, functional school.

Our donation will help:
- Repair and repaint classrooms
- Replace damaged zinc sheets and electrical installations
- Improve classroom ventilation and lighting
- Support the community with the necessary tools and materials for maintenance.

Let's help get these kids back into the classroom.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Each item is produced in limited quantities, and a portion of the proceeds supports grassroots human rights initiatives. Because every shirt is screen-printed, small variations in print or color may occur. These aren’t defects; they make your tee one of a kind.

For these reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size selection. Please refer to the size guide before completing your order.

If your order arrives otherwise damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email us within 14 days with photos, and we’ll fix it (refund or replacement).

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

NOTE:
Ms. Print items are sold as-is and are final sale. Each piece has minor print imperfections that do not affect wearability. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these variations and waive the right to return or exchange based on print flaws or defects.
